Grasstravanganza T-Shirt Designs (2020-Present)
I've been grateful to have been adopted into such an amazing community of volleyball player, and was even more grateful that I was handed the reigns to design the t-shirts for Rockford's Grasstravaganza fundraiser tournament after their original artist moved away. This is one of my favorite and most anticipated freelance projects every year, and it supports an amazing cause in honor of Rockford's "Mother of Volleyball." These shirts have become a collector's item amongst area players, and 2021's shirt was such a hit that I had to bring back the design for 2023 for those who didn't get them the first time around! I'm already planning the design for next year!

The Crow Bar (2025) | Rockford, IL
For this project, I had the opportunity to help a local woodworker/ bar owner rebrand his tavern-style bar. Formerly Wood & Brick tavern, the client wanted to revolve the new bar around crows to pay homage to his love of tools and his fiance's coffee shop Magpie that was damaged due to a fire in 2017. Thus The Crow Bar was born. The owner carved the new logo into wood for the sign and various accessories around the bar, and it's also printed on the rooftop for those staying at the nearby Embassy Suites to see from their rooftop lounge! Not long after, I was asked to draw the wings for a window decal outside the bar for a fun photo opportunity! The wings span about 4 1/2 feet outside the bar, and have made for the backdrop of plenty of bar-goers photos!

"Cappy" (2022) | Sullivan Home Improvement Solutions
As a new Certified Age-in-Place contractor planned to open business in town, I was asked to design the face of the business and CAPS expert: Cappy! The owner of Sullivan's requested that his mascot be a "seasoned man" in a medical coat to represent his cooperation with medical professionals who may request aging-in-place home modifications to their patients, and also a hard hat for the contractor side of the business. Since Cappy's creation, he's been used for plenty of brochures and advertisements, and has even made his way to the television screen!

"The Curb Side" Food Truck Concept (2017) | Clarke University
For this project, I had the opportunity to travel around our region with one of our writers and meet a handful of beekeepers, learn their stories, and try some amazing honey along the way. Going into this project, NEVER did I think I'd need to get so close and personal to bees, but knowing I wanting to take my own photos, I had to face the fear. Turns out, these little guys weren't so scary after all, as long as you bee-have and don't get in their way!
